Dr. Bernd Fischer, Ambassador of Federal Republic of Germany to Croatia visited the port of Ploce on May 07, 2009. During the meeting with Mr. Tomislav Batur, the Executive director of the Port of Ploce Authority and Mr. Ivan Pavlović, the Director of Luka Ploce d.d., H.E. was introduced with the importance of the port of Ploce and its development plans, the most of which are in the phase of the realisation. The ambassador, dr. Fischer expressed satisfaction with the information obtained and stressed the role of the port for the whole corridor Vc, and following his tour of the port area he promised to draw the additional attention of German companies and institutions to the potential of the port of Ploče.
