M/V “Zagreb” in the ownership of “Atlantska plovidba” Dubrovnik entered the port of Ploce on December 9 for discharging 67.208 tons of coal for Italian thermal power plants. The specifity of this event represents the fact that the port of Ploce is the first port of call for this vessel after her recent building in Chinese shipyard.
This newbuilding is the panamax type of vessel, modern double hull unit, with length over all 229 meters, breadth 32,26 meters and depth moulded 20,25 meters. The cargo capacity is 80.300 DWT.
As usually in case of maiden voyage in the port of Ploce, the representatives of the Port of Ploce Authority visited the vessel and gave the gift to captain Zupčić and wished the long and happy navigation to him and crew members and of course to the vessel as well.
