S.A. Geneva, a new weekly container feeder service provided by shipping company MSC Geneva will start in port of Ploce in the beginning of August 2008. The service shall have the rotation Gioia Tauro - Ploce - Bar - Durres - Gioia Tauro, by vessel "MSC Idil" with a capacity of 560 TEU. Establishment of the new service will contribute to the further growth of the container throughput in the port of Ploce, which amounted to 15.962 TEU for the first six months of the current year, 21 % increase than in the same period of last year.
