Additional details of
Advance Notice of Arrival
In order to enhance communication with regard to the ISPS Code requirement, all ships calling at the Port of Ploce are to include the following information in the “Notification of Arrival”: The details of the ship’s International Ship Security Certificate (ISSC).

Date of issuance and date of expiry of the vessel's ISSC;
Name of flag administration/recognized that issued the ISSC Certificate;
Declaration that the approved ship security plan is being implemented;

The name and 24 hour contact information for the Company Security Officer and Ship Security Officer;

The 10 last ports of call, date/time of departure, security level in these ports, special and additional measures taken in these ports.

Present security level on board.

All this required information must be sent to: (the preferred means of prior notification from the ship - fax or e-mail)

Ships arrival procedures

A Master or Ship’s Agent, before calling at Ploce seaport, has the obligation to transmit written information (Notification of Arrival) to the Port of Ploce Authority and the Harbormaster's Office:

At least 24 hours prior to arrival, or at the latest upon departure from the previous port, if the duration of the voyage is less than 24 hours (48 hours prior to arrival if any hazardous goods on board, or if goods are to be loaded).

Changes (added, deleted or altered information) to an Advanced Notice of Arrival must be reported as soon as practicable but no less than:

1 hour before arrival at the Port pilot's boarding position (Lat. 43° 01.6' N., Long. 17° 22.1' E.).

6 hours before arrival at the pilot's boarding position for Sea Pilotage for gas carriers (LPG, LNG) and chemical tankers with noxious liquid substances onboard (Lat. 43° 05.0' N., Long. 17° 00.0' E).

- (vessels with dangerous cargoes must provide the name of each dangerous cargo carried, the United Nations (UN) numbers, where available, the IMO hazard classes in accordance with the IMDG, IBC and IGC Codes and, where appropriate, the class of the ship as defined by the INF Code, the quantities of such goods and their location on board and, if they are being carried in cargo transport units other than tanks, the identification number thereof; confirmation that a list or manifest or appropriate loading plan giving details of the dangerous or polluting goods carried and of their location on the ship is on board; address from which detailed information on the cargo may be obtained.)
